Frequently asked questions
Does Cloudtrade track batches and expiry dates?
Yes. Batches and expiry dates are captured when stock is received and shown in stock and expiry reports.
Can I sell by the strip or by the tablet?
Yes. Products can have sub-units, so a pack can be sold whole or broken into strips or tablets at their own prices.
Is it eTIMS compliant?
Yes, with the KRA eTIMS add-on. Sales are submitted as you sell and the KRA details print on the receipt.
Is there a setup fee?
No. Setting up and using Cloudtrade is covered by your subscription alone. A setup fee only applies when you want our team’s hands-on input, such as importing your stock, setting up your branches or building a custom integration, and we agree it with you upfront.
How does M-Pesa reach my bank?
With the M-Pesa add-on, the cashier sends a payment prompt to the customer’s phone, the customer enters their PIN, the sale closes itself and the money is paid straight into your bank account. It works with most banks in Kenya.
